Using avant-garde technology to unfold the charm of Chinese jade culture
AURORA Pavilion of Shanghai World Expo had a total measurement of 3000 m². The building was shaped like ”乚”, a pictographic character from the Chinese word“礼”, to symbolize the old value of decency and courtesy, it also represented the simplistic, pragmatic and quality first entrepreneurial spirit of AURORA. With the display of exhibits combined with technologies like augmented reality, spectra-vision and holographic projection, and the traffic flow conscientiously planned to enhance the interesting and educational experience for visitors, the design also reflected the theme of Expo 2010 “Better City, Better Life".
