This building at Cheng Kung University was donated by Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO), which planned to have an artistic multi-use space, so that visitors could enjoy the trendy coffee culture in an intellectual atmosphere while having the opportunity to learn about CMO technologies.
Cogitoimage divided the ground floor into "LCD Science Museum" and "Chi Mei café" area and used the corridor space for artistic demonstration purposes.
Painted glass panel walls were extensively used for LCD Science Museum, utilizing its crystal clarity combined with indirect cool blue lighting to create and highlight the ever-changing technological modernity.
